The first of the major Hallowe'en events takes place tonight(Friday) in Lisnaskea.

The grounds of Lisnaskea High School will be the venue for the Community Hallowe'en Event organised by the South East Fermanagh Foundation.

Starting at 6.30pm, activities include storytelling, face painting, bouncy castle, Sumo wrestling and apple dunking with those attending being encouraged to dress up in fancy dress. Prizes are being awarded for the best costume.

Kenny Donaldson, Director of Services with SEFF said, "The organisation has been working closely with local schools, businesses, the PSNI, youth workers and the broader community to ensure that the event has the ownership of the wider community at large.

"We wish to place on record our thanks to Fermanagh District Council and its "Community Festivals Measure" which provided finance to part fund the initiative.

The event will conclude with a fireworks display.
