Around 8,000 homes and businesses in Fermanagh were left without power this morning, NIE reported.

Although power was restored around 9.25am, most premises were without electricity for just over an hour. The areas affected were Enniskillen, Belleek, Bellanaleck, Letterbreen, Florencecourt, Garrison and Belcoo.

A spokesman for NIE said that Engineers are still investigating the cause of the power cut.
