Murdered police officer Ronan Kerr in memory of whom the charity cycle was organised.

A sponsored cycle around Lough Erne in memory of murdered police officer Ronan Kerr raised almost £8,000 for charity.

The young constable was stationed in Fermanagh at the time of his death in April 2011.

He was murdered when a terrorist bobby-trap bomb exploded beneath is car outside his home in Omagh.

In May more than 100 police officers, police supports staff and friends of Ronan took part in a sponsored 52-mile cycle around Lough Erne.

The £7,826 raised has been divided among three charities nominated by his family: Chest Heart and Stroke, Care for Cancer and Cystic Fibrosis.

The organisers have thanked all who supported the event and all who took part or helped out on the day.
