TWO teenagers were arrested after a man in his 60s was assaulted during a burglary at his home near Lisnaskea.

On Friday morning, January 4, the front door of a house at Crom Road was forced open.

Pieces of coal, crockery and lit firelighters were thrown at the occupant by youths who demanded money. A number of windows were broken.

The two youths were arrested on Friday morning and interviewed about the incident and also about an attempt to break into business premises in Lisnaskea. They were later bailed pending further enquiries.
