The Impartial Reporter and its journalists, columnist and photographer have all been shortlisted for awards in a forthcoming prestigious media awards event.
The paper has been shortlisted for the Local Newspaper of the Year in the CIPR NI Media Awards 2014. The Impartial Reporter has held the title for the last two years.
In addition, former managing editor and current columnist, Denzil McDaniel has been shortlisted for Columnist of the Year.
Chief Photographer John McVitty has been shortlisted for Photographer of the Year, Meadhbh Monahan has been shortlisted for Local Journalist of the Year and Rodney Edwards has been shortlisted in the Digital Journalist of the Year category.
The awards event takes place in Belfast at the end of this month.
