Roslea and Teemore sealed their spots in the quarter-final of the McMahon Health Care SFC following wins over Lisnaskea and Derrygonnelly at Brewster Park today.

Holders Roslea had five points to spare as they saw off Lisnaskea while Eoin McManus' late free kick saw Teemore progress from a tight encounter against Derrygonnelly.

Roslea and Lisnaskea played out a close first half but it was the Shamrocks who went in at the break with a two point advantage, 1-04 to 0-05, the goal coming from Shane Lynch who finished from close range.

However, Roslea upped their performance at the start of the second half as they rattled off five points in a row, three from Seamus Quigley who finished with seven points in all.

And Roslea remained in control for the remainder of the tie as they eventually ran out 1-11 to 0-09 winners.

Teemore set up a last eight clash with Kinawley with a one point win over Derrygonnelly, 1-09 to 0-11.

Teemore had started the brighter as Eoin McManus knocked over two frees to push them into a 0-03 to 0-01 lead but Derrygonnelly registered the next five points, including two each from Paul Ward and Johnny McGurn to move 0-06 to 0-03 ahead.

A McManus point though on the stroke of half time left Teemore only trailing by two at the break, 0-07 to 0-05.

And the Shamrocks got off to a flying start to the second half as McManus found the back of the net 25 seconds after the restart before Jason McCaffrey tagged on two further points to make it 1-07 to 0-07.

However, Derrygonnelly were to dominate the next 20 minutes and four unanswered points from Ward, McGurn, Kevin Cassidy and Ward again edged them a point in front.

Teemore's hopes were further hit when they lost Barry Owens to a black card but Declan O'Reilly levelled as he landed the Shamrocks first point in 23 minutes and McManus then drilled over a free in the 60th minute to push them one point ahead.

Derrygonnelly did have a chance to force a draw but McGurn's free dropped short and Teemore held on to secure the victory.
