Fermanagh and Tyrone had to settle for a share of the spoils as their Milk Cup Premier encounter at Riada Stadium finished in a 0-0 stalemate.

An even contest was narrowly shaded by Fermanagh who produced some tidy periods of football on the night.

Derek Sharpe's outfit were the quicker to settle into the game with Ollie Russell a lively presence.

And Fermanagh were unfortunate not to have been awarded a penalty in the first half after Michael Dooris appeared to have been taken down in the box but the Erne appeals were waved away by the referee.

Tyrone did threaten from a couple of breakaway attacks but at the interval the game remained goalless.

It was much the same in the second half with Russell denied by the post while at the other end Tyrone went close to snatching the victory at the death only for a header from a corner to sail narrowly over the bar as the sides had to be content with a draw.
