Fermanagh were narrowly beaten in the Dale Farm Milk Cup Medallion semi-final, going down 1-0 to Armagh at The Warren, Portstewart this lunchtime.
The game was evenly contested throughout but it was Armagh who progressed due to a first half goal.
The tie was played in heavy rain and it was Armagh who looked the more dangerous in the opening half.
Indeed, Fermanagh goalkeeper Josh Gordon was forced into an early save although with only nine minutes on the clock Armagh took the lead from a low shot from the edge of the box.
And the Orchard County went close to a second when a free kick took a deflection that saw it whistle past the post.
Fermanagh, with Jake Irvine showing up well at midfield, had their best chance of the opening period as the half drew to a close as Lorcan McStravick let fly with an effort that flew just over the corner of the bar and post.
Ronan Quinn went even closer to equalising early in the second half with a well struck free kick that looked bound for the top corner but the Armagh goalkeeper somehow got across to push it over the bar.
With six minutes to go Armagh had a long range shot that clipped the top of the bar before a late Fermanagh chance was blocked over the bar as the game finished in a 1-0 defeat.
