Three men were arrested when police stopped a van on the Moorlough Road at Lisnaskea around 8.30pm last night (Wednesday) and seized suspected cannabis plants worth £43,000.
The men, aged 45, 44 and 41, were detained on suspicion of cultivating cannabis, possession of a Class B controlled drug and possession of it with intent to supply.
They are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Neighbourhood Policing Team Inspector Roy Robinson said: “This van was stopped by police officers who were on routine operations when they detected a particular smell.
“This seizure shows the vigilance of police in their everyday roles and is another step in the process of removing harmful substances from the community and keeping people safe,” he added.
