‘Don’t talk to me’ Meaning: This is not a self-important instruction ordering the person who wants to speak to you to stop. No. This is actually said when agreeing to something because you share those sentiments or have experiences of what is being discussed.
Bob to Charlie: ‘There’s an awful hate (heat) in this house the night”.
Charlie to Bob: “I might open the dur (door) a bit and let the hate out”.
Bob to Charlie: “I am choking with drooth (drought) so I am”.
Charlie to Bob: “Don’t talk to me”.
