Ballinamallard face a fight against relegation after crashing to a seven goal defeat at Warrenpoint. The away side didn't manage a shot until the 80th minute and didn't have an effort on target all game, while at the other end the 'Point strike force racked up goal after goal.
Whitey Anderson was forced into several changes with the suspension of Liam Martin and Johnny Lafferty giving Ryan Campbell an opportunity up front. McKenna moved back into a more familiar midfield role with the return of Mark Stafford, while Fergal Murphy was selected in goal with McCusker dropped to the bench.
After a scrappy opening the home side took the lead with a great strike from Bagnall into the top corner, and they were two ahead five minutes later. Murphy and Stafford both make good blocks before Stephen Hughes added a third before the half hour mark.
The Mallards started brighter in the second half but on 51 minutes Daniel Hughes eased past Carters to score a fourth. The remainder of the half was one way traffic with a succession of goals for the home side.
With Dungannon winning tonight it leaves Ballinamallard just one point clear of the relegation play off place with Linfield next up on Tuesday night.
