DETECTIVES are appealing for information after two brothers were tied up in their home last night (Tuesday) during an armed robbery at Clabby.

According to Detective Inspector Brian Foster, one of the brothers sustained a "slight injury" during the ordeal at a house in the Camgart Road area of Clabby.

He said: "Shortly after midnight Police received a report that two males, one armed with a knife and the other a baseball bat entered the house around 11.30 pm and demanded money and drugs. Before leaving the culprits tied up two brothers, who were at home at the time and ransacked the property. One of the brothers sustained a slight injury but did not require hospital treatment.

“It is believed a small sum of cash and a number of items of crystal were taken.

"I would appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area around this time to contact Detectives at Enniskillen on the non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
