A 26-year-old alleged robber accused of threatening to kill four people has appeared before a Preliminary Enquiry at Fermanagh Court.
Martin Terence McDonagh, of Drumawill Gardens, Enniskillen, is charged with robbing Richard Thompson of a wallet, iPhone and £100 in cash on November 30, 2014.
He is further charged that on the same date he attempted to rob Jonathan Davies and without lawful excuse threatened to kill Richard Thompson, Jonathan Davies, Dearbhail McNamee and Jessica Kelly.
A prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the documents before the court there was a prima facie case.
Defence solicitor Myles McManus said he was making no contrary submission.
District Judge Nigel Broderick said he was satisfied there was a prima facie case.
McDonagh was asked if he wished to say anything in answer to the charges.
“Not at this time,” he replied.
Asked if he wish to give evidence, call any witnesses or tender any statement of any witnesses, he again replied: “Not at this time.” He was returned in custody for arraignment at Dungannon Crown Court on May 12.
