The horse and pony events planned for this Wednesday's Clogher Valley Show have been cancelled due to the heavy rainfall.
The Show organisers made the decision to-day after examining the showing and jumping arenas which have been under floodwater since the heavy rain over the weekend.
All the livestock classes and home industries are going ahead as normal.
Up to 1,000 horse and pony entries would normally be entered in this section of the popular show, regarded as the biggest one-day agricultural show in Northern Ireland.
The organisers may have to fix a new date for the National Pony Society championships which are decided at the Clogher Valley Show.
Entries for the horse and pony section come from all over Ireland and the Show officials have been anxious to get in touch with those who had previously entered to inform them of the cancellation.
