Femanagh Premier 1 Partick Thistle 2 The Fermanagh Premier side tasted defeat in their opening game of the Northern Ireland Milk Cup.
Robbie Walker's charges lost 2-1 to Scottish side Partick Thistle competing well in the first half, being a little unlucky to trail 1-0 at the break.
The Fermanagh lads battled hard in the second half but could not find an equaliser while Jordan Coalter produced a couple of decent saves at the other end.
Partick did double their lead as the game drew to a close before Jacob Britton pulled a goal back for Fermanagh in injury time but it was merely a consolation.
