Dear Sir, - Another summer nearly over and another winter nearly upon us and still nothing has been done to resolve the unacceptable and present situation of the Bus stop on the main A4 road.

Listed below are some of the main reasons that concern myself and many others in the village:

1, - The A4 road is considered to be highly intimidating and dangerous making it difficult for the elderly, disabled and mothers with prams.

2, - The danger of no lights in the area cannot be over emphasised.

3, - The approach footpaths are not up to acceptable standards.

4, - The construction of the bus shelter is poor with no seating and very little protection during wet and windy weather.

5, - Not everyone in the village has a convenient walk to the bus stop and some have over a mile to get there, often in very inclement conditions.

Talks regarding the above have been taking place for three years. It is now time for the talking to stop and the action to begin.

It needs doing, so do it now.

Yours faithfully,

Brian King,

59 Main Street,

Lisbellaw
