Locals play key role in Inter-Pro success

Enniskillen and Clogher Valley were well represented in the Ulster squad that ended a ten year wait to land the Junior Inter-Provincial title with a highly impressive 20-6 victory over title holders Leinster at Ashbourne.

Clogher Valley joint coach Davy Black was proud of the efforts of his team, despite failing to land their fourth Powerade Towns’ Cup title in five years. There was never more than a converted try between the sides, but despite some late pressure Clogher Valley had to concede defeat to Ballynahinch IIs as they won the cup for the first time in their history.
