The Annual Fermanagh & Western Football League Awards Night proved to be a massive success once again with a record number of patrons in attendance on the night at the Killyhevlin Hotel in Enniskillen.

All the various Team of the Year and Player of the Years were revealed on the night as well as a number of other awards.

Killen Rangers goalkeeper Trevor Morrison was named the Division One Player of the Year following a fine season while Kesh striker Mark Jones was awarded the Division Two Player of the Year title. In their first year in the league, Enniskillen Athletic made a big impact with Christopher Currie selected as the Division Three Player of the Year while Jamie Sproule (Killen Rangers) picked up the Young Player of the Year award.

The Division One Team of the year saw champions Strathroy Harps and Mulhern Cup winners Enniskillen Town Utd secure three places each with Killen Rangers, Enniskillen Rangers, Fintona Swifts and Beragh Swifts also represented.

In Division Two, St. Patrick’s had the highest representation with four while champions NFC Kesh and Enniskillen Santos had three apiece, the Santos award winners including father and son duo, Joe and Jason Keenan.

Magheraveely, Orchard Farm, Enniskillen Athletic, Erne Rovers and Omagh Hospitals all had players named in the Division Three Team of the Year.

Referee of the Year was presented to Castlederg’s John Coyle while the Outstanding Services award went to recently retired referee Frankie Hannigan.
