Ballinamallard manager Whitey Anderson has signed striker Stephen O'Flynn from league leaders Crusaders to the end of the season.

Anderson is pleased to have completed the deal to bring the attacker to Ferney Park for the remainder of the campaign as the Mallards look to ensure their status as a Premiership club.

He becomes the Mallards fourth signing of the window, joining Ivan Sproule, Ryan Mayse and Jake Dykes.

"I'm delighted to have Stephen on board," said Anderson. "It's been a long week trying to negotiate and the club have worked hard to complete his signature."

The Mallards boss believes that O'Flynn will not only score goals but help set them up as well.

"He's an experienced player who I feel will not only score goals but will also chip in with a number of assists between now and the end of the season."

It is understood that O'Flynn has signed a pre-contract to join Glentoran next season.
