Enniskillen Santos 2 Finaghy 3

Enniskillen Santos made their exit from the Junior Cup on Saturday as they let a two goal advantage slip in the 3-2 defeat to Finaghy at the Lakeland Forum.
Santos appeared to be in a strong position when Seamus Quigley struck twice to put them into a 2-0 lead but Finaghy were given a lifeline prior to half time when they pulled a goal back.
And the Belfast side hit two goals in the second half, including one two minutes from time to set up a meeting with Harryville Homers in the next round.
“It was disappointing to lose from the aspect that we had a two goal lead but in fairness they were a good side so I’m not overly disappointed,” said Santos boss Joe Keenan.
“I knew after about ten minutes that we were up against a quality outfit but we got the first two goals and it looked good for us.
"Their goal before half time though was a blow and they pressed hard in the second half. I can't fault the players though, they gave as good as they got.”
Santos had made a bright start to the game and with ten minutes gone new signing Ronan Sterritt had a good opportunity to put the home side ahead.
He was sent racing through on goal but he got the ball caught up in his feet and the chance was lost.
At the other end, Santos goalkeeper Darren Tummon made a couple of important saves before Keenan’s side took the lead in the 25th minute.
A ball into the box fell to Seamus Quigley and he produced a neat turn on the endline before making space and firing in off the far post from close range.
And the striker doubled his tally for the day soon after with an exquisite lob over the head of a back peddling Finaghy keeper.
The plan for Santos would have been to see it out to half time but they suffered a blow eight minutes before the break as Finaghy found the net to half the deficit going into the interval.
Santos had chances to add to their lead in the second half but both Sterritt and Quigley failed to find the target while the home side also had a good penalty appeal what appeared to be a foul on Quigley waved way.
The visitors though went on to level up proceedings with a well struck effort to the bottom corner and they pushed hard over the final 15 minutes before grabbing what proved to be the winner in the 88th minute.
It's back to the league this week for Santos with a home game against Killen Rangers.
