A very memorable day was had by the large crowd that attended the 3rd Annual Brian Óg Maguire 7’s Football Festival that took place in glorious sunshine on Saturday at Emmett Park.
 Lisnaskea Emmetts would like to thank all those who helped out in any way leading up to the event or on the day itself especially Collie McCaffrey who was the main organiser, the groundsmen who had the facilities looking splendidly, the referees who gave up their time voluntarily and also all the visiting teams for taking part in the competitions.
They would also like to sincerely thank MFC Sports for their kind sponsorship of the U14 Competitions, Tracey Concrete for their sponsorship of the Adult Competition and also Castle Foods Services, Reillys Off-Sales, Goan Meats and the Oak Barrell Bar for their sponsorship.
Congratulations to St.Gall’s, Belfast who won the Adult Competition after defeating Madden, (Armagh) in the Final, Lisnaskea Emmetts who defeated Newtownbutler in the U14 Boys Final and also Aughadrumsee who won the U14 Girls Competition for the second year in a row after defeating Maguiresbridge in the Final. 
Well done also to James McBrien (Lisnaskea Emmetts) who won the U14 Boys Player of the Tournament Award, Katie Jones (Aughadrumsee St Macartan’s ) who won the U14 Girls Player of the Tournament Award and Conor Grimley (Madden Raparees) who won the Adult Player of the Tournament Award. 
The day itself was a fitting tribute to Brian Óg and a fantastic day was had by all those in attendance.
