Erne Gaels 3-13 Teemore 1-12

Teemore had already secured their place in the semi-finals before this match, as had Erne Gaels, so it was a game of little significance to either team.
Seamus Ryder got a hat-trick of goals and finished with an impressive 3-05 of Belleek’s tally.
The Shamrocks never looked like they had enough to get a win away from home, on Sunday afternoon.
By half time, Erne Gaels had raced into a seven points lead.
Points came from Ryder while Ronan Cox, Michael Og McGarrigle, Jack McCann and Barry McCann were also on target.
The home side’s goal came midway through the half after Barry McCann’s shot was blocked down, the rebound fell to Ryder and he made no mistake as he put it in the back of the net.
Teemore’s four points of the first half came from John Fitzpatrick (2f) and Ciaran Fitzpatrick (2f) to leave the score 1-08 to 0-04 at half time.
In the second half, Seamus Ryder contributed a further 2-02 while Ronan Cox, Barry McCann and Michael Og McGarrigle edged Belleek further ahead. Teemore were awarded a penalty midway through the second half after Ryan Maguire was pulled down.
Sean Curry converted the resultant kick but there was still seven points in it.
Teemore added further points through Cian McManus, Ryan Maguire, John Fitzpatrick and Niall Clarke but Erne Gaels always kept far enough in front not to be troubled by the Shamrocks.
Teemore Manager, Tommy Clarke said: “Erne Gaels deserved to win, no doubt about it.
“They were much better than us in the first half, it was a bit closer in the second but as the game wore on Erne Gaels had it won. Both were through to the semi-finals and you could see both teams taking the foot off the gas.”
Erne Gaels Manager, Maurice McLaughlin is happy with how things are going for his team.
“We’re in the league semi-finals and it’s nice to have that achieved. We’re taking one week at a time but we’ve hit a bit of form and it’s nice to be able to deliver a performance.”
