There was medal success for Lee Flynn and Ross Burns from the Fermanagh Branch of the Team Torres Brazilian JiuJitsu at last weekend’s Irish BJJ National Championships in Letterkenny. 
The National Championships are one of Ireland’s leading BJJ competitions with over 300 competitors from across Ireland and the UK. 
From the Fermanagh team Lee Flynn and Ross Burns took home medals. 
Lee took gold in his age, weight and belt division and a further bronze in a tough absolute division. Ross secured a silver in his division against very experienced competitors. These wins add to Team Torres Fermanagh’s gathering medal tally following championship golds secured in both the Irish and British Open Championships by Sean Clancy earlier in 2016. 
In Letterkenny various branches of Team Torres took 11 gold, 11 silver and 10 bronze medals ending the day with silver in the overall team championship. 
The Fermanagh team will now begin training for the up coming Dublin International Open where they will look to increase the medal haul further. Team Torres Fermanagh BJJ trains out of the Castle Park Centre, Lisnaskea Tuesdays and Thursdays, all levels of experience is catered for whether you wish to train for competition, recreation or fitness.
