Members of Splitz Gymnastics Club travelled from Fermanagh to Banbridge to take part in the recent Acrobatics Pairs & Balance event which formed part of this seasons GIAGO competitions.

With a squad of 40 gymnasts aged 7-17, the competition provided an excellent platform for the club’s gymnasts to compete against others of a recreational level.

The gymnasts from Splitz GC were awarded 32 medals with four bronze positions, 14 silvers and 14 golds.

Head Coach Jennifer Hanna commented: “We are so proud of every member of our team, especially to those who have competed in their first competition outside of the county.

“We wish to thank the gymnasts, parents and coaching staff for their continued support and dedication.

“We would also like to thank Borderline Coach Ltd, especially their patience and willingness to accommodate us when the competition overran.”
