St. Michael’s Bowling Club recently held their annual Triples tournament in what was also the club’s 50th anniversary.
The competition was once again a resounding success and each night was fully booked up.
The quarter final results were: D. Bonner defeated C. Shortt 9-1; G. McNabb defeated T. Briens 8-3; J. Morris defeated T. Armstrong 6-4; J. Breadon defeated D. Graham 8-7.
In the semi-finals G.McNabb defeated D. Bonner and J. Morris defeated J. Breadon.
After a very exciting final, J. Morris and his triple emerged worthy winners by a scoreline of 8 shots to 4.
At the conclusion, the Gordon Beatty Memorial Cup was presented to the winners.
