Ballinamallard have tied down captain James McKenna, goalkeeper Richard Brush and striker Ryan Curran to new deals, manager Gavin Dykes has confirmed.

Dykes is already planning for next season and the re-signing of the trio is seen as a great bit of business by the Mallards boss.

"Ryan Curran signed a two year contract with us today and we're delighted with that. Richard Brush signed a new two year deal as well and more important as far as I'm concerned, James McKenna signed a one year deal with us. Those are huge positives and a real vote of confidence in the club," said Dykes.

And the Mallards boss has his sights set on bringing new signings into the club in the coming weeks as he looks to build on this season.

"We need to bring in two or three and if we can get them and get a good pre-season under us hopefully we can get ourselves into a lot better position."
