Rory Gallagher has been appointed as Fermanagh manager after he was ratified at tonight's County Board meeting in Enniskillen and he will be joined by former Tyrone star Ryan McMenamin in his management team. The former Erne star forward will fill the position vacated by Pete McGrath with Gallagher having recently stood down from his role as Donegal boss. The Belleek native, who now resides in Killybegs, was in charge of Donegal for the last three seasons, leading them to two Ulster finals, while he was also assistant manager under Jim McGuinness when Donegal claimed Sam Maguire back in 2012. The appointment will be seen as major coup for Fermanagh officials who have got their number one target for the job.
