Gavin Dykes has resigned as manager of Premiership basement club Ballinamallard United.
The 4-0 defeat at the hands of Ards on Saturday was the last straw for Dykes who stated after the game that he would consider his position.
In a statement released on Sunday night, Ballinamallard confirmed that Dykes had stepped down.
"Tonight the Senior Committee of Ballinamallard United Football Club have reluctantly accepted the resignation of first team manager Gavin Dykes.
"The Club would like to place on record their gratitude for his commitment, loyalty and passion over the past two seasons.
"A further statement will be issued in due course.
