Enniskillen 9 Banbridge 1

Enniskillen kept their title hopes alive at the Bawnacre on Friday night with a comprehensive victory over Banbridge.
The hosts needed points and goals and that’s what they got as they bossed the game throughout.
A strong squad of players took to the field and it took Skins 10 minutes to find their game play and open the scoring. Edel Bradshaw hunted the right post and pushed in two in the first half.
With a lot of space on the pitch McToal on the left used the opportunity to push into the circle and use her skill to outdo the defence and score two of her own.
Banbridge were always on the back foot. Enniskillen had numerous penalty corners and from these took the advantage and Hutchinson didn’t think twice about scoring. At half time the score was 6-0 but there was more to come.
Kirstie Harron had a lovely right wing run into the circle and finished it off by making it seven. McCormick in the centre had time and space to use her skill to get around numerous Banbridge players and produce scoring opportunities for herself and others.
A penalty corner in the second half was played to Hutchinson and back to McCormick for number eight. Banbridge got a welcome goal back but Enniskillen replied with more attacks and a ball in from Harron on the right and a scramble by the Banbridge defence seen Eagleson get her stick to it and push it over the line to leave it 9-1.
Enniskillen entertain Queens in the Quarter final of the plate at the Bawnacre at 2pm on Saturday March 24.
