Enniskillen Rangers 2 Harryville Homers 1

Holders Enniskillen Rangers booked their place in the fonaCAB Junior Cup final with a 2-1 win over Harryville Homers in Loughgall tonight.

Ciaran Smith bagged the winner for the 'Gers eight minutes from time to keep alive their hopes of back to back titles.

It was player-manager Michael Kerr who put Rangers in front with a 30 yard screamer midway through the first half.

However, Harryville, who completed three in a row of Junior Cup successes before Rangers claimed their crown last season, were back on level terms five minutes before half time with a free header from a corner.

And it remained 1-1 in a tight and hard hitting second half until Smith popped up with a decisive 14 yard strike to send the Enniskillen side back into the final.

Rangers will now face the winners of this Friday night's second semi-final between Ahoghill Thistle and Greenisland in the decider.
