Enniskillen Lakelanders displayed some of their best performances for their End of Season home gala at the weekend when they put in impressive personal best swims at their home pool.
It was an opportunity for some of the younger swimmers in the club to compete alongside the senior swimmers as well as a chance to mark the significant improvements made by swimmers in all strokes at the end of a busy and highly successful year for the Club. 
At the prize-giving ceremony, the dedication and leadership provided by Coach Rob Eynon, supported by Clare Morris, Fionna Martin and Tara Breen, was highlighted by the committee.
In the pool, first up were the Freestyle events. It fell to the girls to start proceedings with swimmers aged 8 and under in the 25m freestyle. 
Beth Buchanan took top place followed by Beth Jones. 
For Girls 9 and under, Ellie Dunlop took gold, Hannah Lynch took silver and Elke Pieterse took bronze.
For Boys 8 and under, Luke Lannon took gold, Harry Welsh took silver and Ryan Mongan took bronze. 
For Boys 9 and under, Adam Forster took gold and Lorcan Doherty took silver.
In the 50m Freestyle, For Girls 10 and under, Kate McDade won the top spot, followed by Darcy Balfour and Cora McConnell. 
For Girls 11 and under Abigail Boyd took gold, Molly Rice silver and Anna Cairns bronze. And for the 12 year old girls, Isobel Lannon took top honours, followed by Emilie Reihill and Annabel Morrison.
In the Girls 13 and under category, Ellie McCartney took gold, Molly Johnston took silver and Ciosa McConnell took bronze. In the Girls 14 and over, Niamh O’Kane took top spot, Caitlin Martin took silver and Tara McKenzie took bronze.
In the Boys 10 and under, Jamie Lannon came first, followed by Tom Buchanan and Oliver Mooney. For 11 and under, Nial Bruce took gold, Hayden James silver and James Mongan bronze. In 12 and under, Frank Buchanan took gold and Rory Keogh took silver. 
In Boys 14 and over, less than 0.3 of a second separated the top three swimmers. Connor McKenzie took top spot, very closely followed by Kealan McShea and again very closely followed by Lewis McCartney.
Next up was the Backstroke. Beth Buchanan took gold and Beth Jones took silver in Girls 8 and under 25m Backstroke. Ellie Dunlop took gold and Holly James and Hannah Lynch tied for silver in the 25m race. In the Boys 8 and under, Luke Lannon took gold, Ryan Mongan took silver and Harry Welsh took bronze. In the 9 and under boys, Adam Forster took gold and Lorcan Doherty took bronze.

In 12 and under, Frank Buchanan took gold and Rory Keogh won silver. In 14 and over, Kealan McShea won, followed by Lewis McCartney and Connor McKenzie. 
Butterfly races began with 25m for Girls under 8. Beth Buchanan took gold. In 9 and under, Ellie Dunlop took gold, Hannah Lynch took silver and Sarah Speer took bronze. In Boys 8 and under, Luke Lannon took gold, Ryan Mongan silver and Josh Cassidy bronze.
In the 50m butterfly races, in Girls 10 and under, Kate McDade took gold and Darcy Balfour silver. In 11 and under, Molly Rice took gold and Anna Cairns silver. The last event was the 100m Individual Medlay where swimmers show their competence in all four strokes. Kate McDade took bronze in the Girls 10 and under. Abigail Boyd took gold, Anna Cairns took silver and Molly Rice took bronze in Girls 11 and under. In 12 year old Girls, Isobel Lannon won, and Emilie Reihill took silver and Annabel Morrison took bronze. For 13 year olds, Ellie McCartmey took top spot followed by Molly Johnston and Ciosa McConnell. Caitlin Martin took gold in the 14 and over group. 
For the boys aged 10, Jamie Lannon came top followed by Tom Buchanan and Oliver Mooney. For 11 and over, Nial Bruce took gold, James Mongan silver and Hayden James bronze. Frank Buchanan took gold and Rory Keogh silver in 12 years and under and Kealan McShea took gold, Lewis McCartney silver and Ben Lynch bronze in Boys 14 and over.

G9 Ellie Dunlop; B10 Jamie Lannon; G10 Kate Mc Dade; B11 Nial Bruce; G11 Abigail Boyd; B12 Frank Buchanan; G12 Isobel Lannon; G13 Ellie Mc Cartney; B14/over Kealan Mc Shea; G14/over Caitlin Martin. 
Club Cups were also presented: Group A Girls – Ellie Dunlop; Group A Boys – Jamie Lannon; Group B Girls – Isobel Lannon; Group B Boys – Frank Buchanan; Group C Girls – Niamh O’Kane; Group C Boys – Oisin McManus; Group D Girls – Lauren Tracey and Caitlin Martin; Group D Boys – Kealan McShea. The Coach’s Cup went to Ellie McCartney.
