Next week's fixtures ends the present Fermangh League section games with the four winners then playing off in the semi finals and eventually the final to decide an overall winner for 2011/12 season.

As it stands at the moment two of the sections have been decided, with St. Michael's A and Wellington A having really secured their final position very early in the season.

Section B on paper seems to have a winner in Mullaghdun but St. Mary's who are in second position are trailing by 3.5 points and could collect a maximum four points in their last game next week against Cavancarragh. Mullaghdun however have also a game to play against the Legion and would only need to secure a single point from this, to book their semi final place.

The position of winner of section D has really gone down to the wire, with Derryvullan and Lakeland A neck and neck at the top with only 0.5 points dividing them. Both these leaders have their last game next week, with Derryvullan having to contend with St. Michael's B and the Lakeland A with an interesting fixture against their fellow club team Lakeland B. Neither leading teams have easy passages next week in their attempts to progress to this season's semi final places.

On Tuesday evening past Lakeland A and Derryvullan came up against each other and what a game this turned out to be with both having to settle with a share of the spoils. Derryvullan had the ideal start with two wins in the first two games but the Lakelander's retaliating with two much needed wins in the second two. Meanwhile in this section Gransha ended their season ideally with an impressive three points from their game with Lakeland B. Lisa Macvitty's Gransha rink securing the three points with an emphatic 14 shots to 3 over Lakeland's Jack Thompson's rink.

In section B St. Mary's kept their name in the hat for a semi final place with a necessary three points from their encounter with the Legion while Cleenish ended this seasons run on a win against Cavanacarragh. Cleenish will be satisfied with their season and up until the last few weeks were serious contenders for the number one spot.

Wellington A who are already winners in C section cruised to victory in their game against their fellow club team Wellington B and now wait for a date for the semi finals to be played.

In section A Trory a completed their season with an impressive three points from their game with Florencecourt. Gary McNabb's Trory rink finishing the season on a high with two comprehensive wins 17 shots to 1 and 16 shots to 3 against Florenceourt's Billy Browne and Cecil Phair.

A successful night all round for the Trory club with the B team also chalking up a win against Clogher Valley in a real nip and tuck affair.
