Enniskillen Santos set up a tantalising derby clash with Enniskillen Rangers in the next round of the Impartial Reporter Mulhern Cup following Saturday's 4-0 win over Lisnarick at the Lakeland Forum.

Player manager Joe Keenan was among the scorers for the home side on his first appearance in four months following a knee injury, and he admits that the cup is their main aim now.

"Our league hopes have been ended a couple of weeks now and that was even before we had the three points taken off us last week (for playing a suspended player). Our focus is now the cup so it is good to have got through to the next round. I had the boys ready for a close game and I expected it to be tighter but that never materialised. It was a good solid performance by us," stated Keenan.

Santos were always in control of the contest and with ten minutes played a long ball down the middle was missed by the Lisnarick centre half and Keenan latched on to it before firing it home for 1-0.

A handful of further chances came and went before the home side registered their second of the encounter which came from the penalty spot. Stephen Clarke was taken down in the area and Eugene Gilloway stepped up to convert the spot kick.

Gary Ramsey in the Santos goal made a fine stop to keep them in charge of matters while at the other end Joe Keenan and Jamie Murphy missed good scoring chances.

Ten minutes prior to half time though the home outfit did account for a third goal as Murphy cut inside before slotting the ball home at the far post.

The second half was a dour affair with Santos still enjoying the better of the exchanges and Murphy was to grab his second, and his side's fourth when he sidefooted home.

Keenan then went close to making it five but his effort came back off the post as the game finished in a 4-0 victory to the home side.
