The Enniskillen derby between Enniskillen Santos and Enniskillen Rangers is the plum tie in Round Three of the Impartial Reporter Mulhern Cup which will take place next Saturday, March 20.
Joe Keenan's Santos booked their place in the the third round with a 4-0 win over Lisnarick last Saturday while Division Two promotion hopefuls Rangers will be seeking another Division One scalp after knocking Clabby Strollers out of the competition in the last round.
Former Rangers player and manager Keenan accepts that this may prove to be a sticky tie for his side.
"They are going well so it is going to be a tough one for us and we could have got a better draw," he said.
While counterpart Billy Reynolds says his team is looking forward to the game.
"Our ambition is to get back into Division One, indeed, it is our priority, but these are the sort of games we want week in week out and we will see how it goes. It will be a good challenge," said Reynolds.
There is only one all Division One clash in Round Three with Strathroy Harps, who progressed to Round Three with a 5-1 win away to Dergview Reserves, having home advantage against Ballinamallard Reserves. The Mallards strolled past Fivemiletown II on Saturday with Jarno Glass, Lloyd McFarland, Neil Coulter, Richard Anderson and Robert McAuley all among the goals in a 9-1 romp.
League leaders Lisbellaw United would seem to have received a favourable draw against Division Three outfit Augher Stars. Manager James McGrath said: "I suppose it is a good draw for us but the most important thing was to get a home game and that is what we have."
After overcoming Enniskillen Town in the last round, Irvinestown will once again have home advantage when they face Barrowfield while Kevin Curran's Lisnaskea Rovers side will be away to the winners of the Churchtown v Maguiresbridge tie.
In the Desi Quinns Shoes Reihill Cup, holders Lisbellaw Reserves have been given a home draw against Shelbourne Reserves while Enniskillen Town Reserves, who beat Lisnaskea Reserves last Saturday 3-1 courtesy of goals from Barry Beacom, Sean Curry and Daniel McIntyre, have a tough away game against Glebe Reserves.
Division Two league leaders Enniskillen Rangers Reserves, who are unbeaten this season, will come up against Spamount Swifts Reserves.
