Four of the Enniskillen Rangers players who will be in action at the Foyle Cup next week.
Enniskillen Rangers are first time entrants at the Foyle Cup this summer and they face the exciting task of coming up against the Aspire Academy from Qatar in their opening round of fixtures. The side have enjoyed a good year of football playing in both the Mid Ulster Youth League and the Brendan Keogh Youth League, and Russell Wheeler was quick to praise this particular group of players.
"A lot of the boys have been with us since they were six years old and it is fantastic to see them progressing well as a group. The Foyle Cup will prove to be a memorable experience and to have the chance to play sides from across the globe is unbelievable for the boys."
"We know a few things about the opposition and we expect all three of our opening games to be tough. However, we feel we can compete well at this age group and look forward to the week.
Rangers are a side certainly not short of firepower and in Jamie Lee Fawcett and Adam Breen Wheeler they have two prolific goal scorers, with over 70 goals between them this season.
"It will be a great week for the guys and you just never know what we could achieve if we get that wee bit of luck and play to our potential," said Wheeler.
