The Fermanagh and Western Youth League continued on Tuesday night at the Bawnacre Centre with a win for Enniskillen Town United over Killen Rangers while Kesh played out a 2-2 draw against Strathroy Harps.

It appears that the league is set for an exciting finish with no fewer than three teams still in the hunt for the title; Enniskillen Town United, Killen Rangers and Enniskillen Rangers.

On Tuesday night Town proved much too strong for Killen as they recorded an 8-2 victory.

It was Killen who took the lead through Jordan Orr but Town were to hit back with five goals before half time.

Conor Watson was to miss a penalty when the score was still 1-0 but the Enniskillen side were back on level terms when Liam McKay fired home.

And Adam Breen was to grab the headlines over the remainder of the half as he hit the next four goals. His first came from a good finish before he made it 3-1 when his free kick came back off the wall for him to thump home the rebound. A rocket of an effort from the in form player made it 4-1 and he had Town in complete control before the break as he tucked home his fourth.

Town were awarded a second penalty early in the second half when Ciaran Brough was upended and Watson made no mistake this time around while Brough then set up Thomas Owens to make it 7-1.

Having been involved in the previous two goals, Brough then bagged a goal of his own with a cracking strike to make it 8-1 before Killen’s Timmy Compton netted a late consolation for the Tyrone side.

In the night’s other game Kesh twice held the lead only to be pegged back on both occasions by Strathroy Harps. Kesh took the lead after 20 minutes through Jordan Woods who headed home a David Smith free kick but Strathroy equalised ten minutes later. Kesh were back ahead before half time when Niall Aiken teed up Ryan Dunlop to score but despite battling hard in the second half, Kesh could not hold on with Strathroy grabbing an equaliser with 15 minutes to go.
