Ballinamallard United Youth have made the decision not to enter teams at U13, U14, U15 and U16 level in this year’s Brendan Keogh Youth League. The club will though enter a team to participate in the U11 section.

Ballinamallard have dominated at BKYL level over the years but the club’s Youth Chairman Mervyn Smyth explained their decision.

“The intention is to concentrate on National Youth League and develop our players at that level. The Brendan Keogh Youth League has been good to us but we are looking at doing things differently. We are going to do this and we’ll then review it and take it from there. Our U11s will continue to compete in the BKYL,” he stated.
