Ballinamallard United manager Whitey Anderson made his sixth signing of the summer by snapping up Dergview midfielder Adam Lecky. Lecky put pen to paper on Tuesday night and Anderson is confident that Lecky can make the step up to play Premiership football.

Adam is a player I have watched and admired for some time,” said Anderson. “Having observed him playing this season for Dergview on three occasions I have no doubt that he can step up to the plate and play Premier League football. He will add a new different dimension to our play and we have serious competition for places in the midfield area. I will also be looking at Adam as a possible cover at centre half. Its a position I believe he could play,” he said.

Ballinamallard have already completed the signings of Shane McCabe, Robbie Hume, Aaron Patterson, Michael McCrudden and Alvin Rouse.
