Sunday could well be a tense day at Brewster Park with the league coming to a conclusion and the relegation battle to be decided. Cork, Clare, Fermanagh, Down, and Derry can all still be relegated on Sunday so you can be sure that the Fermanagh management as well as many fans will be keeping a keen eye on what is going on around the division with various permutations still in play going into the last fixture.

A draw might be enough to save Pete McGrath’s charges if results go their way but on the other hand, if results don’t go their way then a win won’t safe them from relegation so a fascinating and nervous afternoon lies ahead.

Here are some of the possibilities on Sunday.

* if Fermanagh win or draw against Derry and Down fail to beat Cork, Fermanagh will be safe and Derry and Down will be relegated
* if Fermanagh draw with Derry, Down draw with Cork and Clare avoid defeat against Meath, Fermanagh are safe because of their head to head against Down
* if Fermanagh draw with Derry, Down draw with Cork and Clare are beaten by Meath, Fermanagh are likely to be relegated on scoring difference
* if Fermanagh draw with Derry, Down beat Cork and Clare lose to Meath, Fermanagh are safe because of their head to head against Down
* if Fermanagh win, Down win and Clare lose, Fermanagh are safe and Derry and Clare will be relegated
* if Fermanagh win, Down win and Clare avoid defeat, Fermanagh will likely be relegated on score difference
* if Fermanagh lose to Derry they will be relegated
