Fermanagh manager Pete McGrath will stay on in the position for the 2018 season, it was confirmed last night.
It had been expected that McGrath would step down following the All Ireland Qualifier defeat to Armagh in the Athletic Grounds at the end of June, but after meeting with his management team last week, he hinted that they would be keen to stay on in role.
McGrath was due to meet the County Chairman Greg Kelly earlier this week to relay the thoughts of the management team on remaining in the post and at last night's County Management Committee meeting the Down native was re-appointed for the 2018 season.
