Call for support as Championships launched

The club season will go into overdrive in the coming weeks as the Intermediate and Senior Championships kick into action. Both the Target Express Senior Championship and the Kevin Courtney Garages Intermediate Championship were launched at a successful event at Brewster Park on Tuesday night.
Target Express are the new sponsors of the Fermanagh Senior Football Championship, and at the launch Fermanagh Chairman Patsy Dolan said that he was delighted that Fermanagh had secured such an illustrious sponsor in the shape of Target Express. He added that he "looked forward a successful relationship with new sponsor Target Express."
The Senior Championship will get underway next Friday night with the meeting of Tempo and Belcoo in Kinawley while on the Saturday Irvinestown will take on Newtownbutler in Tempo. And the preliminary round will be completed by a double header at Brewster Park on Sunday July 29 as Derrygonnelly face holders Roslea, and Lisnaskea come up against Devenish.
Fermanagh PRO Johnny McManus has also made a call for support of the championships.
"We would hope that, as always, the championships are once again well supported in the county and that people get behind their clubs and make the competitions a big success."
