Fast Ball Speed and Reduced Spin for maximum distance
High end aftermarket shaft options, AS STANDARD
Greater range of shot shaping options
On January 25th, 2013 your customers will be able to experience the raw power generated from the first of many ground-breaking introductions from Callaway over the coming months with the delivery in-store of the new RAZR Fit Xtreme Driver.
The all-new club features technologies that advance overall performance and promote distance gains over its predecessor, the award winning, Tour-proven RAZR Fit Driver, making it the most exciting club Callaway has ever launched.
Other big news is RAZR Fit Xtreme's choice of two tour grade shaft options as STANDARD. The primary shaft, the Aldila Trinity, combines Aldila's three patented design technologies (RIP, S-Core, Micro Laminate) into a single shaft design.
A secondary offering, the Matrix 7M3 Black Tie, is a heavier, lower launching, lower spinning option for higher head speed and higher spin players.
Among a wealth of other performance improvements, the new Driver features the lowest CG of any adjustable driver on the market, fuelling further distance gains, and a new weighting system that offers golfers a greater range of shot shaping.
LongestDriverInGolf Twitter campaign creates history
Callaway went global when it welcomed thousands of consumers to its new Driver with a 'TWEET TO UNLEASH' campaign that broke ranks with traditional product introductions and marked a first for the golf industry.
Recognising more serious, year-round golfers take to Twitter more often than other social platforms, the new social media experience rallied avid golfers around the longest, fully adjustable driver that Callaway has ever created .
FACT On the day of launch Callaway was the #1 trending topic on Twitter (for everything, not just golf!)
FACT The campaign generated 12,000 tweets in one day. In a single one-hour segment there were 1,500 tweets about the campaign - that's 25 per minute!
FACT @CallawayGolf received nearly 11,000 mentions on Twitter in less than 18 hours
Final stop for the European Tour
After 44 tournaments played over 11 months across 24 countries and five Continents, the frontrunners in The Race to Dubai will this week converge on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates for a fitting finale to another superb European Tour season at the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.
The elite field of 57 players reads like a who's who of world golf, with 28 winners from The 2012 European Tour International Schedule - including World Number One and Race to Dubai champion Rory McIlroy - lining up to battle it out for the US$8million prize fund and a share of the US$3.75million Bonus Pool awarded to the top ten.
Having missed last week's cut at the Hong Kong Open, Rory Mc Ilroy will be keen to refocus and finish the season with another victory, especially with such a top quality field.
From a sponsors view it may be worth developing a format similar to that used for The FedEx Cup on the PGA Tour, where by the outcome is only determined after the last tournament,
Not that Rory Mc Ilroy will be too worried having already secured top prize in The Race to Dubai.
Two inform players to follow this could well be Louis Oosthuizen and Henrik Stenson.
