Motorcycling enthusiasts from all over Ireland, the UK and further afield will converge on Ballinamallard Football Club on Friday June 18. The Honda CBX Six Cylinder club are having a two day rally event which will be their first meeting since 2006.
The six cylinder machine first appeared on our roads 32 years ago and still has a big following of riders, enthusiasts and collectors who make up a large number of clubs worldwide.
The last two rallies held in Fermanagh were hailed a great success and local all Ireland representative Rickie White, is again. expecting a quality selection of machines at this event.
There will be camping and dining facilities at the Ballinamallard football club but some visitors will also staying in surrounding accommodation. The full range of the 'CBX' models will be on display and also some unique customised 'specials' for which prizes will be awarded.
Commenting on the planned event, Rickie White mentioned that the CBX club were very grateful again to Ballinamallard Football Club, local chef Noel Beattie who will be providing food for all attending, band 'Midnight Graffiti' and a number of local businesses who have donated ballot prizes for the rally. The main event is a 100 mile ride out leaving the football club at 11am on Saturday 19th June.
