Two rowers from Enniskillen Royal Boat Club have been selected to represent Ireland at the forthcoming Junior European Rowing Championships in Krefeld, Germany.
St. Michael’s student Ross Corrigan and Enniskillen Royal Grammar pupil Aaron Armstrong came through a rigorous selection process that saw them win at Skibereen Regatta before also impressing at trials at Lough Rynn over Easter.
The duo will travel to compete in Germany on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22.
This is the latest recognition for the Boat Club which itself is in the midst of the regatta season with all roads leading to Cork and the Irish Rowing Championships in July.
