Over 200 swimmers from six different clubs came to the Lakeland Forum to compete in the Carl O’Reilly Memorial Gala at the Lakeland Forum. It was an emotional day for the host club, the Enniskillen Lakelanders, as they remembered Carl who died so tragically in May and who represented the club with such distinction.

Former friends and competitors were among those to compete.

Carl’s parents Brian and Marcella, long standing members and competitors with the Lakelanders, helped with running of the event which was a fitting memorial with some excellent performances in the pool.

Brian O’Reilly also competed in the Skins event which attracted former Lakelanders, Masters swimmers and members of Donegal Lifesaving.
