THIS year’s Lady Of The Lake Festival entertainment kicks off tomorrow night (Friday) with the Paul Kelly Band along with Hugo Duncan (pictured right), Gavin McAloon, Kathy Kane and John Rafferty.

Paul Kelly has been on the road with his band since October of last year. The band includes Denise Boyle on fiddle; Pauric O’Sullivan, bass, Micky Madine on drums, Finn Morris on keyboard, Jonathan Milligan on guitar and Karl Kirkpatrick on rhythm guitar.

The Tractor Boys are in Mahon’s Hotel lounge on the opening night of the Lady of the Lake after playing on the main street.

The band plays a vast array of music, specialising in Horslips music. Gary Fitzpatrick makes a welcome return to Irvinestown on Saturday night. A new kid on the block , he is already being compared as the new Nathan Carter and has a very energetic show. The entertainment continues into next week with the Rockhill Ramblers playing in Mahon’s Hotel on Tuesday night, July 14.

They are a five piece band hailing from county Donegal.

Over the past few years they have been playing in pubs, festivals, dances and weddings around the country. And Johnny Brady takes to the stage on Wednesday night in the Delany suite.
