THIS week at The Ardhowen South Bank Playhouse present a classic who-dunnit in ‘Wanted: One Body!’, running from tonight (Thursday) until Saturday.

WANTED: ONE BODY!

‘Wanted: One Body!’ by Charles Dyer, is a classic murder mystery with disappearing bodies, sliding wall panels and howls in the night - a who-dunnit thriller with the accent on laughter.

The tale takes place in a classic old, dark house set amidst the rising flood waters and swirling mists on the edge of the lonely marshes.

This is Greenacres, the home of the Barraclough family, where two solicitors arrive to read the will of the late, but not greatly lamented Mr Barraclough, only to learn that his body has mysteriously vanished along with the will!

As well as the play itself, the Company will also be bringing the theatre foyer to life before each performance.

Corners of the foyer will be transformed into Greenacres House from the play!

Enjoy themed drinks at the Ardhowen bar!

Join South Bank Playhouse for a night of warmth, wit, thrills, and hilarious fun from tonight (Thursday) until Saturday, August 15, at 8pm.

THE MAN IN BLACK After their outstanding performance in August last year, ‘The Man in Black’ makes a welcome return to The Ardhowen on Saturday, August 22, at 8pm.

Hailed as the greatest and most exciting Johnny Cash and June Carter Tribute in the UK and Ireland, the show features JP Mac, whose baritone voice, delivery and stage mannerisms are uncannily like ‘the Man in Black’ himself. Caroline Parker, who takes on the role of June Carter, steps up with a larger than life stage presence and even bigger voice.

The combination of the two and their fantastic band are wowing audiences all over.

They have been playing in clubs, festivals, cabarets, hotels and theatres throughout the north and the south of Ireland and the UK for the past 5 years, while also having appeared on various radio slots nationally and internationally.

An official accolade of support was also made from Johnny Cash’s very own Drummer of near 40 years W.S (Fluke) Holland, who regarded JP’s tracks as “quite amazing” on his radio show in Tennessee just last year.

Featuring some of the biggest hits such as ‘I Walk the Line’, ‘Ring of Fire’, ‘A Boy Named Sue’, ‘Big River’, ‘San Quentin’ and of course the duo’s hit ‘Jackson’, this show is a must see for real fans of Cash and Carter.
