YOUNG actors between the ages of four and 15 will join forces for a very special performance at the Ardhowen Theatre this Saturday evening, September 26, marking the completion of a 12-week performance-skills and theatre summer school led by the O’Brien School of Drama in association with Borderline Players.

The actors attended weekly classes in Enniskillen and Pettigo throughout the summer months and have worked very hard honing their acting, singing and dance skills under the watchful eye of director Siobhan O’Brien and her team of assistants Nicole Beaumont and Cian McAlone.

The production titled ‘A Time Traveller’s Tale’ features a series of acted scenes, comedy sketches, high energy dance routines and celebrates some of the most famous stage musicals in recent years including the Lion King.

Speaking ahead of the performance, O’Brien School of Drama founder Siobhan O’Brien explained that this was the first year the school had offered a summer programme and it was very much in response to demand from both the children and their parents and follows on from the success of the Borderline Players pantomimes over the past number of years.

Siobhan tailored the show to include both young children and teenagers with the youngest cast members just 4 years old and added that it had been a hugely enjoyable experience working with the cast and crew and said she was looking forward to showcasing the accomplishments of the actors to their families and friends on Saturday evening.

The cast features children from Derrylin, Enniskillen, Irvinestown, Kesh, Ederney, Pettigo, Belleek and Garrison and the performance on Saturday will be an evening not to be missed with something for all ages.

A Time Traveller’s Tale will take to the stage at 8pm on Saturday evening.

Doors open at 7.15pm.
