Ardhowen Theatre

Three very different nights of great entertainment take place at Ardhowen Theatre from July 10 to 17. On Saturday July 10, to kick start the holidays, the Alexander Brothers take to the stage for a marvellous evening of Scottish songs, reels and craic. These international stars always provide a great entertaining show that is ideal holiday entertainment. It starts at 8pm.

On Friday July 16, Ben Sands, from the Sands Family, is joined by talented song writer Maranna McCloskey and the clever and witty Patsy O'Hagan for a real family show entitled 'Songs, Tunes and Tall Tales'. It's a night of great stories and song, woven of people and places, events past and present by three wonderful entertainers. It's a show that has played to great accolades around Northern Ireland's theatres and provides high level fun and entertainment for all. Curtain up is at 8pm.

Saturday July 17 sees the return of one of Northern Ireland's all time great comedy and cabaret bands when Clubsound take in Ardhowen Theatre as part of their 40th Anniversary tour.

All the old favourites are there 'Shankill Airways', 'Andy McFadden' and of course the immortal 'Ballymour Grouse Beaters'. Why not join George Jones and the boys for a great nostalgic musical trip down memory lane? The show starts at 8pm.

Belvoir Players

No Summer entertainment programme at Ardhowen Theatre is complete without a visit by the Belvoir Players. This year they once again tickle our funnybones with a Sam Cree comedy entitled 'Cupid Wore Skirts'. It's a pot-pourri of Ulster characters as we visit the Belfast home of antique dealer Andrew Coulter, a widower who still has a twinkle in his eye as he advertises for a wife with totally unpredictable results. The comedy runs for three nights from Thursday 22 to Saturday July 24 at 8pm.
