Baroque Delight Concert at Castle Coole

On Thursday 12 August at 8pm in the splendour of the Grand Hall at Castle Coole there will be an evening of baroque music.

Austrian-born classically trained flautist, Karin Leitner has been touring Ireland for the past ten years performing in Ireland's Great Houses and on Lyric FM, and returns to Castle Coole following her highly successful concert with harper, Cormac de Barra in 2009. Soprano, Kerstin Doelle from Dresden, is welcomed to Castle Coole for her first appearance here having performed worldwide in concert and opera. Fiachra Garvey, also will perform at Castle Coole for the first time; this very promising young Irish pianist has been nominated "Rising Star" of the National Concert Hall. With charming baroque music and stunning baroque style costume together, the trio will present an unforgettable and relaxed evening suitable for all audiences. Afterwards the audience will get a chance to meet the performers for a refreshing glass of wine in the adjoining Breakfast Room.
